Mama Mia saying "Hello!" to my Fashionista Mamas!

So before we "fire it up" (Dika with the cooking and me with the fashion), I'd like to introduce myself.

My name is Mia and I love, love, love fashion and anything fashion-related! I think it's always been in my blood, as my mother was a Fashionista herself! I remember when I was little, I would open up mom's closet and it was like opening a wonderland! Her dresses were draped over the hangers in most beautiful colors and gorgeous silks, velvets, cashmeres and softest cottons. We didn't have walk-in closets, but wardrobe closets in various sizes; my mom's closet covered the entire wall of her bedroom.
Three-quarters of the closet belonged to mom and only one-quarter to my dad. Below dad clothes.. boxes of mom's out-of-season clothes! Her shoe collection spread out like a field of beautiful flowers: colors of every kind, heels of every height, and type of every sort! She had pumps, sling-backs, open-toe, sandals, mules, espadrilles, but all with a heel and not smaller than at least 3".
When I look at my closet, I remember my mom's..
She also had to have perfect hair and make-up to go along with her wardrobe, and nail polish.. always had to be red, even until today!
Mom always knew how to put things together, which is very important. What good are all those clothes to you, if you have no clue how to combine them?! You don't only have to think about colors you are putting together, but also about materials, cuts and shapes, and also your mood! If you are in a casual mood, don't try playing dressy - you will just spend whole day feeling awkward in your own skin.
Same goes with considering your hairstyle and make-up for the day: if you downplay your hair, add a kick of color on your face! If you are having a beautiful hair day, then let your hair take the attention, and go with a natural make-up.
I've been trying for years to get to the point where I can just throw things together and look effortlessly good, and I think I'm finally at that point. THAT is something I'd love to share with those interested in looking best they can & feeling great about themselves!

So that's my intro! It's not everything about me (not even close), but it's definitely something that inspired my love for fashion and appreciation for women's beauty.
